
CNCDA “Produção Sustentável, Consumo Responsável” · Branding Proposal – This project was developed as a submission for a competition by the Comissão Nacional de Combate ao Desperdício Alimentar (CNCDA), aiming to raise awareness on sustainable production and responsible consumption. The proposal visually represents the continuous and dynamic cycle between sustainability and responsibility. Drawing inspiration from the Escudo Português (Portuguese shield), the logo evokes the circular economy, emphasising resource optimisation and waste reduction.

The design integrates key elements such as a hand supporting the globe, symbolising human responsibility in fostering sustainable practices. The color scheme reinforces the message, with green shades symbolising nature and red referring to the Portuguese national identity, which highlights the importance of community participation—whether public entities, private organisations, or individual citizens—in reducing food waste.

The branding extends beyond the logo into various applications, including stationery, stickers, merchandise, and even storefront visuals. Each element adheres to the visual guidelines, ensuring consistency and reinforcing the brand’s eco-friendly ethos across all touchpoints.
